The information in this website has been correlated from literature produced by the Cider Industry Council, in association with Dr Mark Morgan.

Dr Morgan is a Social Psychologist at St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra and has carried out extensive studies on the issue of underage drinking in Ireland. He was involved in the recent 30-country European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD) and his work has been widely published.

It is an offence for anyone under the age of 18 to be in the bar of a licensed premises after 9pm, unless attending a private function at which a substantial meal is served.
